When the country went into Level 4 lockdown last year, whanau living on the Coast had community leads, support workers, ninjas, kaimahi – who delivered kai and hygiene packs and provided support for pakeke. With the switch to phase 3 of the Omicron plan, the role of our community leads and kaimahi plus the support they provide has changed. Tui Warmenhoven and Leeanne Morice, Ruatoria and Hiruharama leads joined us this morning to clarify their roles.
