Twenty emergency pods will be available to communities and marae to better prepare us all for civil emergencies.  The project was made possible with funding from Te Runanganui o Ngati Porou, Ngai Tamanuhiri, Rongowhakaata and Te Runanga o Turanga-nui-a-kiwa and generous dollop from Te Puni Kokiri.
