‘This is the darkest time since the second World War’. Maori Health Researcher Dr Rawiri Taonui says the easing of covid level restrictions in Waikato and possibly in Auckland next week, will see an increase of cases for Maori.  He says Maori vaccination rates are still very low and delta is on a steep upwards.  He expects 3000 Māori cases by Christmas.
