There is a Rahui from Koutunui Point to Hautanoa following the death and beaching of a whale between Waipiro Bay and Waima.  Te Aotawarirangi pakeke Jack Chambers the whale is in a place only accessible by boat and he doesn’t want to see it butchered on the rocks.
