On Friday Hauora Tairawhiti announced that two positive Covid-19 samples were found in the waste waters of Gisborne.  Testing clinics were set up in Gisborne and on the East Coast to enable people with flu like symptoms or had travelled out of Gisborne, to be tested.  Jim Green, CE of Hauora Tairawhiti says around 300 people were tested.  Anyone with flu-like symptoms should go and get tested.
