Womens rugby is taking off in Tairawhiti and the Ngati Porou East Coast Women’s team using every opportunity to grow – with two recent wins under their belt! Captain and half back Shirley Mullany grew up playing rugby and loves it and hopes that one day, they will have a team competing in the Farrah Palmer cup.
