The iwi of Ngati Porou, Rongowhakaata, Te Aitanga a Mahaki, Te Aitanga a Hauiti, are working together to develop and implement a Tairawhiti Maori Medium Education Strategy.  Maru Whakatipua spokesperson Amohaere Houkamau says they have grants and schorlarships available for our aspiring and current Kaiako.
