Former Prime Minister the Right Honourable Helen Clark believes New Zealand’s Pandemic Response is going well.  Miss Clark is the Co-Chair of the Independent Panel on Pandemic Preparedness and Response  for the World Health Organisation.  She says by comparison – New Zealand has had 28 deaths and Ireland who has the same population as New Zealand have recorded 5300 deaths.  She is encouraging Tairawhiti people to get vaccinated.
