Meet at Ngata College at 10am and Waiapu Bridge at 11am. 

Visit sites with community members who have years of erosion control experience to see and understand their proposed solutions to stabilising the banks of the Waiapu awa and stopping further erosion. 
This is open to anyone interested in protecting their land and awa from erosion, anyone who wants to learn about local solutions to local problems. 
The aim is to build and share local understanding of the potential erosion control methods that could help restore the awa and protect whenua.
