The Maori Party started 2022 with a bang. The House opened on 8 February and that day they initiated a petition calling for the removal of the Bristish Crown as our head of state and to move Aotearoa to a Te Tiriti o Waitangi based nation. Co-Leader of the Maori Party, Rawiri Waititi joined us to explain the petition.
