It has been a long hot summer and we’ve been wondering how the Mahi Atu Trust vegetable garden has been faring. They recently hosted Makarika school students planting natives and spinach for the maara kai.  Porourangi Tawhiwhirangi says keeping the maara kai watered has been a challenge.  However the outdoor cannabis plants they have growing at Rua Bioscience headquarters in Mangaoporo are thriving.  He joined us this morning with an update.
