It is just a matter of time before Covid gets here and spreads through those who are not vaccinated.  CE of Hauora Tairawhiti Jim Green says there are still 5000 Maori who are not vaccinated.  He says if anyone living in Tairawhiti contracts covid, you will be isolated at home with regular visits from a nurse, until you need to be moved to hospital.  But they have organised extra personnel, additional beds and other facilities in preparation for Covid arriving here.
