In 2019 Ngati Porou had the second largest number of tamariki in Oranga Tamariki care.  Amohaere Houkamau helped develop a Ngati Porou strategy to stop the uplifts of Ngati Porou tamariki and ensure wrap around support of our whanau.  She talks about the Report on Oranga Tamariki released by Minister Kelvin Davis yesterday.
