Toitu Tairawhiti have organised the distribution of kai vouchers and fresh fish to kuru pounamu in the Tairawhiti region. Ngati Porou Group Holdings CE Shayne Walker told Erana Reedy, 161 bins of iced fish will be packed and delivered to whanau, through nine Ngati Porou hapori hubs.
