Be guided through moon mazes, star constellations and Māori pūrākau (traditional legends and stories) astronomy and navigation.
The Stardome is a portable planetarium that looks similar to a blow up igloo and will be at the Reynolds Hall, Tolaga Bay 26-28 June 2019.
This is a great opportunity where you can explore the wonder of the stars in the S.M.A.R.T Trust (Society of Māori Astronomy Research and Traditions) Pop Up Stardome, providing a unique visual and in depth look at an unspoiled night sky.
Please register . A maximum of 15 per session. Approximately 1 hour sessions. Bookings essential.
This is a free event brought to you by Hauiti Hauora, supported by Te Kura Waka, Matangirua & S.M.A.R.T Trust
Also at this even, The Maori Women’s Welfare League would like to share with the community, a vision for Mara Kai.
Look forward to seeing you there.
